Community-Based Rehabilitative Services (CBRS) is a specialized program offered through NC Infant-Toddler Services. Therapy Source offers CBRS services to children ages birth to 3 years old. Early intervention programs help young children grow and develop while supporting their family unit in caring for them.
CBRS is developmental intervention uniquely designed to enhance cognitive, physical, behavioral, self-help, social-emotional, and language skills. This rehabilitative therapy for infants and toddlers is play with purpose.
Our highly skilled therapists will travel to your home or community location to help your child adapt in their natural environment. Our goal is to improve interactions within the family unit as a whole. Providing the child and their families with the tools needed to help the child be successful in their natural settings. We value the families' culture and core values and find success improves when the whole family is incorporated into the treatment session. This collaborative approach will help the family learn new strategies to incorporate into their routine and improve their child's success.
What is the Value of Play?
Children learn best through play. It is through play that our therapists are able to address different aspects of your child's developmental needs. It is important for each session to be tailored to the specific needs of your child.
Family participation is a key component to your child's future success. Our therapists work diligently to create fun and engaging treatment sessions that interest your child and encourage them to embrace change, growth, and learning.
If you are concerned about your child's development, Therapy Source can help refer you to the local CDSA agency for an evaluation.
